BOSOM BUDDIES - INTERVIEW WITH BBC RADIO TEES

Last week we had a very exciting morning with Amy Oakden from BBC Radio Tees.

Dawn, our Head of Customer Services, is a very keen knitter, and knits 'Bosom Buddies' in her spare time. Bosom buddies are an alternative to prosthetic breasts, designed for people who have had mastectomies. The knitted versions are a lot lighter, and a softer version (compared to a heavy prosthesis), made from 100% cotton.
They are available for free on the Lingerie Department, donations welcome (of which go to the Friarage Breast Cancer Care Unit).

Dawn and Michelle's (Lingerie Buyer) interview with Amy was on BBC Radio Tees on Wednesday 18th February, and can be listened to here
(23 mins, 15 seconds in).

If you would like any information, please call in to our Lingerie Department.
