4. DEEP CLEANING
The store has been deep cleaned by our cleaning operatives, Maid in North Yorkshire. The whole team have been trained to clean to deal with Covid 19. The cleaning team will be in-store at all times, regularly disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
We will be re-starting our bra-fitting service from Monday 29th June. We are operating by appointment only - this means that our dedicated team will have time to ensure the fitting room is cleaned thoroughly between each fitting, and allow time for the appropriate PPE and safety measures to be put in place - our fitters will be wearing a shield/mask, gloves, and will have fully sanitised hands. We must also ask that all customers having a fitting bring their OWN mask to reduce the spread of germs during the fitting.
6. REDUCED OPENING HOURS
We have taken the decision to remain closed on a Sunday. We will be open Monday - Saturday 9am - 5.30pm for the foreseeable future.
7. pROTECTIve equipment
We have had protective plastic screens fitted at all of our till points to help stop the spread of germs during face-to-face transactions. Our team also have access to masks and gloves.
8. FITTING ROOMS/Footwear
We are delighted to be able to re-open some of our fitting rooms from Wednesday 24th June. A limited number of fitting rooms will be made available to customers, and will be monitored by a dedicated member of staff who will ensure sanitisation of rooms when they are open. Clothes that have been tried on and deemed unsuitable will be put in isolation for 48 hours prior to them being returned to the sales areas.
Shoes that have been tried on and deemed unsuitable will be sprayed with a shoe-safe disinfectant before being put back out on the sales floor.
9. RESTAURANTS ARE NOW OPEN
We're delighted to say that Barkers Kitchen and our 1882 Café (downstairs) have re-opened. They're running on reduced capacity to allow for social distancing, and will now be operating by table service. The menu's have slightly changed - SEE THE MENU FOR BARKERS KITCHEN | SEE THE MENU FOR 1882 CAFÉ
10. MAKE OVERS/TESTERS
