Excellent store with great products and lovely staff. Two great restaurants and menu choices. Excellent clothes and shoe departments plus a great kitchen department. Also a dog friendly shop but obviously not in restaurants.

This department store is just wonderful everything you need under 1 roof reminds me of when I was little and use to go to Lewis's and Schofields with my mum no other place like it anymore. They also have an amazing furniture store 5 mins down the road - love it love it love it!

As a visitor to Northallerton I was really impressed by Barkers; a real jewel on the High Street.
It really does have something for everyone with so many well known brands, particularly in the womenswear section.
It was good to see lots of staff on the shop floor to assist; I found them cheerful and helpful.
There are a lot of stores in Northallerton but if you are looking for quality items this would seem to be the ideal destination.
I’ll definitely be visiting Barkers again when we come back to Northallerton.
