A great ‘old skool’ department store. Good sized Menswear Department. Friendly staff from the second you walk through the door. They always do fantastic sale. Shops like this are dying out and it’s important to keep them on the high street. Always a great shopping experience.

Our family will be unwrapping numerous articles on Christmas day that have passed across one of the many counters.

A favourite store of mine, I love it. There aren't many good department stores left, but Barkers has come a long way and evolved into a very successful business, having this store in The High Street and their Home Store, which is wonderful, on the edge of town.
You won't find run-of-the-mill here, but you will have a fab time finding that special item or two!
Lots of very helpful, friendly staff too and plenty of parking!
