Jo's 20 Year Anniversary

Congratulations to Jo in our Shoe Gallery, she has been working at Barkers for 20 years.

This week we surprised Jo with some special treats to show our appreciation for her service - Guy Barker who presented the gifts said, “since Jo started at Barkers, the Shoe Department has sold over 320,000 shoes!

Also pictured is William Barker, Jo fitted William’s first school shoes.

We asked Jo what she valued most about her time at Barkers, she replied “The thing that stands out the most is the characters I’ve met and worked with here - I’ve made some brilliant friends over the years and I’m sure I will meet a lot more in my remaining time at Barkers!”
