Our First Floor Bistro is waiter service and has three seating areas. The menu changes with the seasons and offers a wide range of freshly prepared dishes with most ingredients sourced from local farms and suppliers.
Opening Hours:
Monday - Saturday: 9am - 5pm (food served until 4pm)
Sunday: 10am - 3pm (food served until 2.30pm)

Visited Barkers Bistro again and were not disappointed. There is always a lovely atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone, great prices and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

My wife and I went to the valentines lunch to celebrate 40 years together. What a lovely atmosphere with a singer and beautifully decorated tables, the food was superbly prepared and the staff are warm, friendly and attentive. Full marks would definitely recommend.

We usually go for just coffee and a delicious scone to share, but on Valentine’s Day it was also my birthday and we went for a special luncheon. It certainly was special, our food was first class for every course and the complementary Prosecco was the best ever, super dry just how we like it. Exemplary service, attention to detail as always. Wonderful friendly, efficient, helpful and professional staff. Our go to place whenever in Northallerton, you will not be disappointed! Bravo 1882, simply the best!

We have just had the breakfast menu at Barkers Bistro and the full English is one of the best I have ever tasted. Everything was cooked to perfection for me. The staff were lovely and the service was quick. I can't wait to return again soon.
